![]() ![]() God gave Himself to you: now give yourself to God. Question: “What’s the difference between you and God?” To love God is something greater than to know Him. God won’t give you anything you can’t handle. The I’m 3 rd Principle: God 1 st, Others 2 nd, Me 3 rdįaith doesn’t get you out of trouble, it gets you through it. We are like the penny, because we have the image of the king stamped on us, the divine king. God loves us just the way we are but He loves us too much to leave us that way. God spreads grace the way a five-year-old spreads peanut butter… He gets it all over everything. There is nothing we can do to make God love us less. ![]() There is nothing we can do to make God love us more. I just wish that He didn’t trust me so much. I know God will not give me anything I can’t handle. Lord, take me from myself and give me to Yourself. If there were no God, there would be no atheists. ![]() If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it. If God had a wallet, your picture would be in it. In the designs of Providence, there are no mere coincidences. I am the king’s good servant, but God’s first. God has this huge banquet for us yet we choose to eat Spaghetti-O’s. To me it’s a more solid and startling fact that any man in the street is a Great Might-Not-Have-Been. Men spoke much in my boyhood about restricted or ruined men of genius: and it was common to say that many a man was a Great Might-Have-Been. ![]() We make our friends we make our enemies but God makes our next-door neighbor. We don’t go to God to get something we go to give something. You don’t know that God is all you need until you’re in a position where He’s all you’ve got. When God seems to be millions of miles away, we have to ask ourselves one question: Who moved? You have made us for Yourself, O Lord, and our hearts will remain restless until they rest in You.
